Our daily bread – an Erasmus+ project between four schools in Germany, Romania, Italy and Spain

Bread is a man-made natural and cultural product and shaped by its specific cultural and regional context. It is used as a symbol in customs, traditions and religious rites. Bread as an everyday food is something that connects us with and distinguishes us from other Europeans since it shows our specific culture, geography and region. The topic of this project enables students from Germany, Italy, Spain and Romania to work on different aspect of bread, its connection to agriculture, jobs and professions connected with bread production, the science behind its making, its marketing and the various customs and traditions surrounding it. 

This website will be a space where you can learn more about our project, look at our results and educational materials and where you can follow our progress as we work together over the next 3 years.
